Gallery Unita was founded in 2000 by visual artists Bart Elfrink and Caroline Koenders. Originally as an art gallery where art, dinners and workshops came naturally together. The gallery as such does not exist anymore but from 2006 on we are happy to give courses in Greece, two to three times a year. This with our experience as teacher in painting and printmaking as well as our artistry, but also with knowledge of the Greek language and the country. This week is not just about serious working but also enjoying the delicious foods and the beautiful surroundings. All information about our inspiring courses can be found on this site!

Recommended!
Back at work for a while now, but still with the energy I gained in Greece in my blood. Had a wonderful painting week; worked hard, but felt incredibly relaxed as a result. Thanks for the hospitality, the delicious food, and the beautiful paintings.
and hiking spots we visited. I can recommend it to everyone!

Unforgettable week
Last week I was a guest at Caroline and Bart's in Greece. An unforgettable week!
From Bart, I learned to look at things differently and to think in layers. I now see the colors magenta and ultramarine in everything. Caroline spoils you wonderfully with delicious food and attention. You really don't have to do anything there other than enjoy yourself and paint a lot. I also met lovely people like Nelly, Gerrit, and Irini, and the Greek ladies. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Fantastic!
It was fantastic there!
First, a nice, relaxed breakfast, and then off to paint on location. That was an excellent way to see the most beautiful spots in Epirus. Caroline and Bart shared a lot about the area and local customs, which completed the picture. There was attention and guidance for everyone at every level, even for me as an absolute beginner!
In short, thank you Caroline and Bart for this wonderful week.
